You can use any colours you'd like to use 🙂 just try to match them as close as possible or pick the colours you prefer.A useful trick you can do is to click on 'add a variation' on the website. Then you'll be able to see the hex codes of the colours. There are websites online that can help you find the corresponding colour number for embroidery floss brands like dmc, but there might be no exact match. |

If you're a beginner, I REALLY don't recommend starting with that pattern. Here are some patterns that are easy and that has video tutorials: #1, #2, #18, #15. You can also search on YouTube for "Easy tutorials for friendship bracelets", and you'll find a lot of good video tutorials. Hope I could help! 😄

@AlmaLlama I really appreciate your advice but I've made these sort of bracelets before but not alphas, also it's something very personal and I need to make the starry night bracelet for someone. Can you please help me in any way? Its really important for me

Did you see my reply too? Was it useful? And I agree, as a first alpha, it might not be the best choice You could also try #35013 #113037 #59843 #112150 They have less colours/colour switches and are therefore a bit easier |

That pattern has very many color switches, and I don't really recommend it as your first alpha, but idlf it's very important, here is my advice: watch the tutorial that Masha Knots made on the Flat Alpha Technique, and make that steps to this pattern. Hope that makes sense, but if you don't fully understand, please feel free to message me 🙂

@halokiwi yes I replied to you earlier as well, you might think of me as stupid but I need to make this pattern. I'm probably never going to see this person again. I need to make this pattern only

I did not see your reply before writing my reply, but I'm not sure how else I could help you 🙂As I said before, you can use any colours you like/match the colours as close as possible by eye. You can also click 'add variation' to see the hex codes. There are websites online which tell you which hex code is which dmc colour number. |

If you don't know how to make alphas in general, I recommend this video: https://youtu.be/_YVFAX9sacwI could tell you which dmc strings you'd need, but I don't know, if you're even using dmc and figuring out which ones you'd need would take me just as much time as it would take you. |

@halokiwi thanks but I won't be using dmc they're not available in my country, I'll figure out the colours on my own, thank you again. I'll ask for help if I need any
