there should be an explanation on the notification, it can be the tags or the colours you use (too similar or too dark) i would start there 🙂

In our guidelines there is a list of patterns we generally decline
https://www.braceletbook.com/review-guidelines/

I recommend to read the guidelines completely, but especially the part on patterns.

Patterns we generally decline:
- chevron, simple fishbone chevron and candystripe
- simple plaid patterns with one row f and one row b knots
- striped patterns consisting of fb and bf knots
- simple zigzag and horizontal stripe patterns
- simple diamond patterns
- existing patterns with added borders or straight edge technique
- simple text patterns
- scrambled or randomized patterns without a clearly repeating pattern
- duplicate patterns which should be added as variations
- extremely similar patterns which are very easy to derive from the originals
- similar variations
- cow print patterns
- QR codes and Spotify codes

I'm new to braceletbook and I had to submit an already existing pattern with my own keywords, I assume this is just something for new users to practice submitting patters(?) It kept declining with the keywords I was using but eventually it worked, and I later got a notification that my pattern was accepted. But when I go into the "create patterns" option on the website it is still making me do the practice part again, and I can't start making my own ones. Sorry this is long but does anyone know what to do?

@eabh_h that's just the default setting for the generator. You don't actually have to do that

@eabha_h when opening the generator, the default pattern is pattern #1 for normal patterns and pattern #696 for alpha patterns. It is not meant as a practice, but just so that there is an example how a pattern looks.

You can change that default pattern to create your own pattern. I recommend to go to 'interactive normal' and just play around a little to see what you can create 🙂
