Alpha bracelets knots issue

Hello everyone, I want to ask a question about the issue. While knotting an alpha bracelet, the knots seem clear in the row from left to right, but in the row from right to left, the knots seem to be as if they are curled. I tried with both hands, I changed the direction of the thread (straight or diagonally) but I could not reach the result I wanted, I wonder if it is related to the type of thread use or its material (cotton , acrylic etc), is there any secret to it? I changed my profile picture ))) to explain better, I hope it's clear the issue I'm talking about.In normal bracelets it happens too while knotting right to left if I make segment knotting or chevrons |

You might be pulling the string at a different angle while knotting or you might knot with a different tension

I would definitely check the tension, from the looks of it, it looks like the knots are tighter going left to right but looser right to left
