I got a decline message on a pattern that said "'s' is not useful." Now, I did have a random s in the keywords that was a typo and deleted it. But then I noticed that I was putting the singular and plural of things (ex. "seagull seagulls bird birds" etc.) So is that what they were talking about or was it the random s that I had in there?

I think they were taking about the random s. I usually put the singular and plural forms in my keywords and they aren’t a problem.

The declined message means that you have a single keyword that is 's'. It happens when you try to use an apostrophe. The apostrophe turns into a space when you save your keywords. For example mother's day --> mother s day |

@fourknots feel free to message a moderator, for example me, and then we can discuss why your patterns are getting declined in more detail.Have you checked out the decline message of the pattern? It should tell you, why it is getting declined. If you don't understand the decline message, you can always use the review notes to ask questions or you could message the moderator who declined your pattern and ask them about it. |
