After I attach all the base strings and start doing knots with my color and I put the dowel on a clipboard, but when I finish the row I don’t see it and when I look under the clipboard there is no row there so I’m confused please help! 😢 😢

Most of the time I do but with this pattern I’m not seeing any knots

Are you using the same colour for the base strings and the background colour? Maybe it just looks like this because the knots of the first row are touching your larks head knots.I'd recommend trying to tie the first row without it being hidden. Secure the dowel in a way, so that what you are knotting isn't hidden under the clip. You could try to undo the knots of the first row, to see, if you've actually made knots or not. I can't imagine, that you didn't do knots. They need to be somewhere. |
