Hi, I've tried uploading an image of my dog/s to change to an alpha pattern. I've added an image and it says try not to use too similar colours but it picked the colours. Anyone know how I go about making the image a pattern without having too many similar? I've been here a while now but not tried making a design before so I don't know what to do lol 🤔 🤪 |

Thank you for replying. I don't fully understand that? I went on to create pattern, alpha from image and chose how many colours and the size, clicked save and test and it looked good. But in a box it said try not to use similar colours and then had something like n-4 or something. But I could not figure out how to tweak the image, or colours. Could you post a link to a video where they uploaded the image and the steps they took after save and test? |

So when you push save and test you have to go into "Draw Alpha" at the top and that's where you can mess with the colors. When it generates the image, it makes it super shaded, so you have to make the image with less colors that are closer in shade (because most people don't have like 24 shades of brown haha) so you can actually make the wallhanging/bracelet/bookmark etc. look like the image. It won't be exact this way, but it'll look similar enough when you're done tweaking

To change the colors you have to tap on the color you want to change and then the number sequence above it in the little box. Then a whole other box will pop up where you can change the colors (your keyboard will pop up, don't worry about that, just tap on the color wheel and it should go away)

I would recommend lowering the amount of colors you use so then there won’t be as many colors that would be to similar

Thank you so much for all your help everyone. I think I might be able to do it now with this new information. If I have understood it correctly. It's a lovely community in here and you don't get patronised for asking even if it an obvious answer. Thanks again everyone ❤
