how do you make bracelets that only use 1 string of that color?

since you have to fold over your string and that creates 2 of that color, I usually avoid patterns that use just 1 of the color. Anyone who can explain how that works?

You don't actually have to fold the strings that's just a common way people make bracelets because it's easier to tie them and it can look better. You could try not folding any of them so you would make the strings half as long as you normally would but have more, tie those strings together, then braid the strings for 1-2 inches, then make the actual pattern, and end with a braid too, so that to tie it around your wrist you tie the braids together There are some other ways to do it but I think this is the easiest |
