So I made the Mistake of starting this pattern with the straight start technique, and now I dont m is how to finish it. I'm not sure, if you can get the end to be perfectly straight, but you could sort of do a triangle end, but instead of starting from the v-shape that you don't like, you start from a straight line.

You could do a regular triangle end instead. I don't see why it should look bad 🙂I'd pick the middle knot of row 14 as the tipp of the triangle and change the knots at the beginning and end of row 9 so that there is no black. |
