Masha Knots has a video on YouTube explaining the different types of knots. If you are on the braceletbook website above the pattern you should see two videos both are by Masha knots explaining how to make the four types of knots and how to read patterns. If your arrow points to the right, that’s a forwards knot. If the arrow points to the left it’s a backwards knot. If an arrow points to the right and then the left that would be a forward-backward knot and if it points from the left then right it’s a backwards-forwards knot, I would recommend starting with a chevron bracelet (if your knew to bracelets, even if you aren’t it’s good to learn how to read patterns) the chevron is pattern 2 on braceletbook and along with the types of knots video, Masha Knots also has a video tutorial on the chevron. Overall, making bracelets and reading patterns isn’t something you master in seconds it takes work and practice. Keep practicing and you’ll be able to master reading patterns! Hope this helps!
