How do I set up alphas? Do i put all the colors i am going to use in the original loop? I keep watching videos none of them make sense.

I don't know what tutorials you've been watching but I recommend the ones by Masha Knots or Alex's innovations.But no, when starting an alpha, you only use the base strings and the 1st leading string. So if you're doing lets say #40357, you'd start with the base strings and the pink. You add in the other colors later as you need them, the way how you do it is explained well in both Masha's and Alex's videos. |

https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/106_how-to-make-color-switches-in-an-alpha/also, this tutorial might help : ), it explains how to make regular and flat alpha color switches I highly recommend trying the flat alpha technique (also described in the tutorial) as soon as you start making alphas, it's really not that hard and it can make your bracelets look a lot nicer |
