Can normal strings be used??

normal like the ones for clothes? They're the only strings I have and iIts kind of a hassle if i go out and buy them because im pretty sure i'll only be making bracelets for a veryy short period of time. 😢

Do you mean the super thin string you use for sewing? I think that will be wayyy too thin and produce an odd result. The best string to use is embroidery floss. Of course you can always experiment but in my opinion it will be too thin and slippery to work with

Anything really works, my recommendation would be embroidery floss, or craft cord if you’re looking for a cheaper option. I wouldn’t go for anything really thick like rope, or really skinny like sewing thread.

If you make bracelets with normal sewing thread then the knots will be so small to see plus it will be very time consuming. Use embroidery flosss, that's the best option.
