iโve been trying to use the straight edges technique for all of my bracelets recently which i love but i find that the width will increase or decrease between rows throughout the bracelet(which i find very dissatisfying and discouraging). is this because of inconsistent knot tension row to row? or is there something else i should focus on improving?

Is this about alphas? If yes, the issue might lay in the colour switches or you using different kinds of string for the different leading strings.If it's about normals, the straight edges technique only partially helps when trying to achieve a straight bracelet. Some patterns like zig zag patterns or diamond patterns that have lots of knots going in one direction and then the other direction, tend to get a little wavy around the edges. |
