I have absolutely no idea what to charge for my work. I'm told I should go by amount of time it took me n cost of materials. But... Still... I have not the slightest idea. I also feel REALLY bad charging my friends a lot. Especially if that friend is a repeat customer n we make trades cause they make stuff too. Like, I know some people go by the hour but I dunno. Should I charge by how big? Like many strings? N what about rows? I'm going nuts! Ty

I like to make bracelets at least 6 inches. Trying to make keychains lately too. I make them between 2-3 depending on pattern. N ty

Matching the Etsy prices may be an okay place to start, but I would time how long it takes you to make bracelets, calculate how much that time is worth, and go from there. Don't forget to include material prices! (Although this is a relatively inexpensive craft 😊 )

Matching the etsy prices might have the disadvantage that you might be matching your prices to people who undervalue their work. Matching prices that are too low to begin with might cause prices to sink even more.
