hm that’s pretty vague so i can’t really explain exactly how to improve…. a usual culprit of messy alphas is knot tension. make your knots looser. i know when i started alphas, i had this mis conception that every knot should be really tight because that would make them even and same in size but what i found out is that there’s too many variables that could go into the knot size so having it looser means there’s more margin that the variables won’t change the knot size yk? try a ruler or something straight to make your rows even. are you using all the same sized string? if you could explain why you think it’s so messy, that would definitely make it easier to know how to help!

Here are some tips:-start your bracelet in a straight line; -do the flat alpha technique; -make more looser knots. If you want more tips, here are some links to some YouTube videos that have a lot of good tips for alphas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLw6N2T_NK8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-UWqtTxWls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12pByQvfzeY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff7rwAP9jvI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLJNBsBma_M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmEMdPhIqno https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUGJeYrBeLE |
