I would agree with @halokiwi for the best patterns to start with. Masha Knots on Youtube has tons of amazing tutorials on almost everything bracelet related, if you are trying to learn something. 🙂 |

I'd also like to mention that certain kinds of patterns are easier for beginners! 10-12 strings or fewer is easiest, as are normal patterns, of course, but I would look specifically for patterns that use each string evenly. Those kinds of patterns allow you to use the same length of thread for all colors, which makes setting up easier and helps you avoid running out of string. My personal favorites for beginners are #15, #53096, and #44730, as well as #125479 (and its thinner version, #126278). I've also made a few patterns that fit these criteria: #134708, #147391, #134604, and #118854 all use their colors equally, and only have 6 or 8 strings. |

Some of them are more advanced, but they're good "post-beginner" patterns that help you go from #1 and #2 to larger, more complicated patterns. They'll help you practice backward-forward and forward-backward knots, as well as knot tension, and since they have an even number of strings you can practice end techniques like teardrop loops or triangle ends.
