I'm not really a newbie but I figure it's a newbie question: I want to use a button instead of ties for my bracelet. How do I best tie off the strings when finishing the bracelet, so they don't come loose but also don't have too long a tail or too bulky a knot? I ended with a triangle end, if that makes a difference. |

You can split your strings and knot them that way! I really think that's a unique twist and hope you have fun knotting! I am dying to see a picture when you finish

Here is a tutorial: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/32_ending-bracelets-with-a-button/The tutorial recommends using nail polish or glue to avoid the strings from coming undone. |

Thank you both! I'll probably go with the nail polish if I can find some - that sounds most secure while still not being too scratchy. 🙂
