Multicolour string pattern

I got a bunch of multicolour yarn today but have no idea how to incorporate it into a bracelet without it looking too gaudy. Any particular !normal! pattern suggestions or general advice on what kinds of patterns should work?

I really like #2772 it’s very classic but still fun and it works really beautifully with a multicolored string
