I am attempting my first Alpha pattern. I'm sure someone else has wondered so I thought I'd ask here first. When using embroidery floss (DMC if it matters), how many rows are in an inch? Or cm? I'm trying to figure out how many pattern repeats and blank rows needed to get the size I am looking for.Thanks in advance!! |

It depends on how tight you knot. I recommend to make a little sample or check out an alpha you made previously to figure out how long a certain amount of rows is.
