So I wanted to make a small carrying bag but idk how to make the 3d aspect to make the carrying case itself. How do I make things 3d?

Will you be using an alpha or normal pattern?You could knot the pattern as a tube (connect left and right edge). It would be an alpha. Would you recommend I just look up some mappings for shapes and work from there?

Do you mean a net?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_(polyhedron) If yes, it would make sense to look that up. You could just sew the edges together or tie the loose strings at the edges together. |
