Shaped bracelet

Hey, so i’ve been trying to figure out how to make a shaped alpha, and i think i basically understand, but there’s one pattern in particular i want to do but i don’t know how to do it. The pattern i want to do is #143357, but i have no idea how to make the curves on the side go in bc all the tutorials i’ve seen are making the sides of the bracelet go out (hopefully that made sense). For example the evil eye or frog bracelets. In those tutorials you’re shaping the sides to go out, i just have no idea how to do the curves, so if anyone could help, that would be deeply appreciated (sorry for this being so long).

I think it might help to think about it like this:In the frog bracelet, after the shaping goes out, it goes in again. To make the shaping go in first, it is like you were starting at the widest part of the eye of frog. |
