Hey! I just started making alphas and I have a really good tip! If you use clipboards, when you introduce a new leading string, use a BINDER CLIP to fix it to the side of the clipboard! It's EXTREMELY secure and really helps! If you have any other good tips feel free to share here!

@parissoc In alpha patterns forward and backward knots are used. They are the same knots also used in normal patterns.I recommend watching MashaKnots' video on the flat alpha technique to learn how to make alphas. I'm pretty sure that she also explains the knots. |

@parissoc I don't think Masha explains the knots in the flat alpha video, but you can watch her basic knots video and carry over that knowledge!
