Hey, I am new and have never made an alpha before, my problem is that when a new colour comes up you are supposed to let the yarn in from the side, the problem is how do I do that, lots of answers please.

Watching a video should answer your question 🙂 I know that's not a helpful answer.

Are you trying to do the flat alpha colour switch or the regular colour switch?

hi! I just finished my first alpha and I was wondering if im able to cut all the strings on the back to clean it up so it looks less messy? im pretty sure this will make the bracelet come undone but is there anyway to clean up the back without doing the clean back technique

@perrtree usually cutting the loose strings in the back shouldn't damage the bracelet. Especially if you used the flat alpha technique, this should work fine, but even if you didn't, it should work.

@noname53 I usually tape new strings behind the bracelet or above it- that way I can just knot a new part from the back. Hope this helps!

Knot one knot then lay the new color over the string you are tying on. Then knot the second knot and the new color will be stuck so you can start using the new color
