Hey! Please please please don’t EVER put yourself down because of your bracelets. Everyone was a beginner once and everyone has made horrendous bracelets. It’s just a fact of life that your first bracelets are going to look awful! Skill comes with practice and effort; don’t expect your bracelets to look perfect. There are no perfect bracelets and no perfect knotters! You are absolutely ABSOLUTELY going to get better and better with practice, so don’t feel sad that your bracelets aren’t turning out the way you want them to! I know you will make incredible, amazing things someday!!!

In my alpha there is sapoused to be teo of the same color strings on each side i just tried to make my first alpha and it didn’t work out because of that

I totally agree!! Just today actually, I stumbled upon a picture of my old bracelets, and really reflected on how much I've improved!! So don't get discouraged because we ALL started at the same place, and all took a very similar journey to get where we are today 😊 And it took me years to get better, so be patient; don't beat yourself up 😍

Oh my gosh yes I have saved all of my horrendous bracelets in a box and they will never been seen by the eyes of anyone but me, but I like to look at them to see where I came from compared to where I am now. I’m glad I kept up the craft 😊

@FireQueen awwwww dang. I’ve done that with other types of crafts, like crochet i just pulled apart cuz I absolutely sucked at it 😭🤚 Did you take any photos of them?

I read a tweet once that has unironically changed my life:"Anything worth doing, is worth doing badly" It's okay to do a thing badly. The important thing is that you did the thing, because next time, it has a change to be better. If you don't do it, then it can't be bad, true - but it also can't be good. |
