Hi i am wanting to know how to start a bracelet when there is only one colour of thread. I am used to doing a knotted loop to start however due to their only being single strings of colours i can't just make a loop. I am trying pattern #147476 for reference. Thanks

You could just make ties on both ends instead. You do the tie at the start the same way you would usually do ties at the end.If you really really want to do a loop, you can check out MashaKnots' video on making a loop with an odd amount of strings |

If you're feeling lazy like me, you can just do the loop normally and then pull the string-ends that you won't need into the loop when you're done. 🙂
