How do you guys decide the length you use for string?

For my alphas I’m having trouble deciding what size I will use for my back strings and my normal bracelets

For alphas the length of the base strings needs to be the length of the bracelet plus what you need for loops and ties. If you have a certain amount of rows you want to make, you can take another bracelet you have already made and measure a certain amount of rows and use that to calculate.In normals it depends how many knots you make in the colour of each string. I know that one of the other mods has figured out a formula. I can ask later. |
