Declined photo confusion?

Hi! So, I made a normal bracelet following pattern #27303, but tweaking the third color, making it a two-color bracelet. When I uploaded the photo to the site it was approved, but then deleted saying that the bracelet didn't correspond to the pattern. However I did follow it. So what is my move? Should I have added a variation first?

I think the issue might be that there actually is a pattern like this but with two colours so maybe you could try finding that pattern and upload it there. I think you could also talk to the admin or whoever accepted or deleted your picture.
