Hi! So I started making alphas recently, and it’s been going well! But I have a problem where, the edges will get wider row by row. I’ve been using the flat alpha technique and the straight edge technique, and so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong? Also, my rows started to get curvy? How do I avoid that?

Try to keep your tension consistent. If you are using different brands of string that vary in thickness even just a little that will affect the knots. Practice in general can also help. 🙂

@stringpro the flip-flop bracelet is kind of in between. You knot in rows like you would in an alpha, but you don't have your traditional leading strings and base strings, because each of the strings becomes the leading string at some point.

If your rows start to get curvy, try using a ruler to gently slide your knots up into a straight line every couple of rows.
