Hi everyone! I'm an intermediate bracelet maker and I recently got Masha Knots' The Beginners Guide To Friendship Bracelets Book. In the book, she mentions being able to use yarn so i'm wondering if anyone knows where in the U.S. I can buy yarn that would work for bracelet making. I find that as I'm making more bracelets, a skein of embroidery floss doesn't always last long enough for one bracelet so I figured yarn might be good because it's in a spool. Thanks!

I sometimes buy bulk DMC embroidery thread from Amazon. It think it comes in a 200 g cone and a 500 g cone. They don't have every color, but they have basic colors that I use a lot of like white, black, and other random colors. Buying bulk is usually more cost efficient. They don't offer the cones in store at Hobby Lobby, Micheals, or Joanns where I normally get my thread. Joanns is the best price where I live for individual skeins of DMC. |
