How do I search a code?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'code'? Do you mean a pattern?

If you mean the pattern number, you can put it in the search field called "Pattern #", but you need to remove the "#".
The thing is, only 6 characters fit into that field. So if you copy a number like "#123456" and paste it into the field to THEN remove the "#" at the beginning, then the "6" of the actual pattern-number will have already been cut off. You need to copy the number without the "#" to begin with.
