Yeah girl I'm sorry I'm lost on that too 😭 I try to keep my normal bracelet strings *very* flat though, like laid out flush with the surface I'm working with, and separate out the sections I'm not using (for segment knotting) by putting the ends above the bracelet. I hope that makes sense 😅

I recommend trying #7954

It was the first large pattern I did, and it was simple enough to do that I was able to get used to handling a lot of strings. Masha Knots also has a tutorial for it, so you can follow along while you work on it

hey! sometimes segment knotting can help, but even starting with a pattern that doesn’t have as many colors either, just less things to keep track of. sometimes you just gotta do it and get the practice in, even if they aren’t the best at the beginning. just start small, and i’m sure you’ll do great! lmk if you have any more questions!! 🙂

if you’re segment knotting, what i usually do is untangle the strings that i need for a part and then when i’m done, set them aside, untangle the next part and then continue doing that. it’s not perfect but it gets me by ig
