So I started my first alpha and I do not know how to switch colors on the edges?Here is an example: (the letters represent colors) ggggggggggggggg ffffggggfffffffffffffff How do I switch the colors o the right edge? Someone help as I need to make this for my friend in week!!!! Thanks 😄 |

You start with a new colour at the edge, the exact same way you started with the very first colour in the very first row.

You just do the last knot of the row like you would do the very last knot in the very last row of the bracelet

if you’re doing the straight edges technique, you make the bf/fb on the edge and then just put the leading string behind the bracelet and then make the same mixed knot with the new leading string on the edge. if you aren’t doing the straight edges technique, then leave the string out, make the first half of the knot on the edge and then put the first leading string on top and then knot over it with the second leading string and then take the first leading string and put it behind the bracelet. this is also known as the flat alpha technique, which helps to keep alphas flat and connected when color switching in an alpha
