The easiest way would be just not making a loop, but if you really want one, MashaKnots has a video on making loops with an odd amount of strings.

I think the Masha Knots tutorials only cover having an even number of strings but an uneven number of colors on each side.For an uneven number of strings, the method I use is: If you want to make a loop, it's really easy. You can just cut one of your strings to a bit more than half the size of the others, put it into the bunch of strings so its length is even with the rest on one side, and make the loop over all of them. Now you have a loop and a tiny bit of string poking out on one end. Gently pull on the longer end of that string until the tiny end is inside the loop. Then very carefully start making your bracelet without tugging too much. After the first few rows, everything will be secure and you can tug as much as you want. |

@IndyHaine you can apply that video to uneven amounts of strings too 🙂Just split one string in half like described in the video and then you can loop it around a folded string from the other side of the loop to secure it and you can work with it just as if it was a regular string. |
