You go to "create patterns" and select "new pattern" next to "alpha patterns".https://www.braceletbook.com/create/ The alpha pattern generator has multiple pages, with different features. Which one do you want to learn about? "alpha": on this page you add the keywords and submit the pattern. It is not very good for editing patterns. "draw alpha": on this page you can draw your pattern "write alpha": on this page you can use three pre-set fonts to generate simple word patterns (we no longer accept those, but you can use it for personal use or if you plan to add unique and complex decoration in "draw alpha" afterwards) "alpha from image": on this page you can upload an image that then gets turned into a pattern, patterns created like this often look unfinished and need to be tweaked a little "alpha from font": on this page you can upload a font file and enter a text which gets turned into a simple word pattern, just like "alpha from image" patterns generated this way will most likely need to be tweaked Here are two tutorials on how to tweak alpha patterns https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/120_making-better-outlines-for-alpha-patterns/ https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/74_how-to-tweak-patterns/ |
