I would just start in a straight line. Leave enough space for ties. I would also do the flat alpha and straight edges technique as well. Hope this helps

I would recommend starting with a smaller alpha, such as #286

Hi @pablito543I keep recommending #130371 because it's small, doesn't have too crazy colour changes, and still looks extremely cute, so it's rewarding too! But I think the same about #18119 or #48092 🙂 |

@slaMaybe instead of trying segment knotting, you should do row by row to get the hang of it, and then try segment knotting while watching Masha Knots video! |

@Kwobisch try knotting less tight and try pushing your rows up after each row knotted. For future projects you could try to use thicker base strings or doubling your base strings to make the pattern less stretched.
