You can advance your rank by participating in the site! This can include submitting patterns, photos, or videos, and also posting in the chat or forums. Submitting photos of the bracelets you make will probably be the fastest way to raise your rank, though.

There are no specific requirements. The more active you are and the more valuable your actions are, the faster you'll rank up. Most things you can do on here count towards ranking up.
