Hi! I was making a really pretty pattern, #139328 if you want to look at it, and one of my base strings broke while I was making it. How do I fix this? 😭

you can replace it by taping a base string behind your bracelet and then just knotting over it. be careful tho for the first few rows becaude if you pull too hard, it can slip out

lol i meant to say be careful in general bc i remember when i was working on a bracelet and the replacement string wouldn’t stay

To make sure the new string is really secure in there, when you trim it from the back, you can put some kind of glue on it so the string doesn’t get pulled out.

if i’m making an alpha i won’t be wearing around my wrist i also like to use clear nail polish to secure the different strings

I weave the ends in at the end of the bracelet and then cut the string
