@hollow_log Thank you very much for your help ❤️In fact, it is a political stance that I don't care about, but I prefer not to have such themes |

i think i found the pattern you’re talking about. the comment is really an opinion about basic human rights on a pressing social issue, not a political stance. i don’t know if the mods will do anything about that, tbh.

@hollow_logDo you think I have violated basic human rights that I should receive such a reaction? |

Is this about the Iranian flag? If so, I'm really confused, but maybe I'm just ignorant as to what the flag entails. The flag itself seems non-political to me, since it's just the current official flag of a country (I might be wrong?). The comment "women life freedom" also seems inoffensive to me. I do understand that any show of patriotism to a troubled country is met with a lot of suspicion, though. I'm German, and if I see an unprompted German flag, I'm always very suspicious since patriotism in this country almost always goes hand-in-hand with human rights violations. However, I do understand if you're upset about that assumption. Deleting the comment seems like the exact wrong course of action though. I would just leave a comment to say that you agree, and then the suspicion will be cleared up. Sorry if this is a naïve or uneducated stance. I don't claim to know much about current affairs and I don't know what group uses what flag... anyone can feel free to correct me! |

@IndyHaineWell, the words themselves seem peaceful, but in my opinion, it is not only women who have the right to life, in my opinion, all living beings have the right to life and also have the right to freedom, so a sentence that says that only a certain class has the right to life and freedom, then I I will not support it Because it has limited my desire, which is the right to life for every creature with a soul And I at least have the right not to support it Because every person has a choice and I don't say that I have any objection, but I don't like my mind to be involved in such issues and I don't want to care about it. And if you want to know more about the cause of my discomfort, you can send a private message... |

I see! I understand what you're saying, and you are right that everyone deserves the same rights!I think this might just be a miscommunication then. Usually, when people say they want rights for a specific group, they don't mean they want rights for them exclusively. They're just saying that they think that this specific group (maybe among others!) does not have equal rights yet and that is the reason they call out this group specifically. On the other hand, the answer "everyone deserves rights" to that callout is often understood by the other group as someone saying that they already have equal rights. This is why there is often arguments about this even though both parties are on the same side, I think. I'm also not the best person at communicating clearly, so I don't have any good advice other than trying to clear up misunderstandings. That said, I really apologize profusely if I'm absolutely off base here, which I probably am, but better safe than sorry: If you're concerned for your safety because of someone possibly reading your messages and/or seeing that comment under your pattern, please go to any post on the "Community" Forum and @ my username there. I will then ask mods to take down this thread and the pattern. Once again, sorry if I'm being stupid here, but I'd rather look like an a-hole than being not careful enough at one point. |

@IndyHaine @fatima_msvThe best way to request a pattern or comment or anything else to be taken down, is to message a moderator directly. It might take a few days until the pattern or comment is taken down, because only admin can do that and he doesn't always have time. A user can always request for their own content to be removed and this whish will always be followed, but content of someone else can only be removed, if it violates our guidelines or is somehow hateful or inappropriate. This is not the case with the comment that is still there. The other comment that did violate our guidelines because it included a swear word was removed though. |

@halokiwi I have requested the removal of the flag and I understand that it may take time and I am in no rush to do so and I respect whatever decision you make.

@IndyHaine And the other reason I don't support people who use this slogan is that I have seen actions from them that I think were inhumane.

I'm very sorry to hear that. And it may sound hollow but a few bad actors do not mean that everybody means ill by those words. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, even if they say stuff like "all lives matter", which was a slogan deployed by a certain group to deny others their human rights. But some people don't know that and use that phrase because of its literal meaning, and I think talking through what means what to whom can be beneficial.I respect that you felt hurt by the comment and may not want to do that now. I'm not here to tell you you are wrong for feeling that way. I just honestly want to... idk, cheer you up? That seems like the wrong phrasing. I hoped it would make feel you better to know that this is probably just a misunderstanding and you both meant well. I'm sorry if I came off pushy! I hope you have a good weekend! |

@IndyHaine I only believe what I see,it's actions of people that reveal them, I never define other people's work because redefining it is like doing it I never try to change anyone's opinion, because I know that opinions are different, because every person is unique and has the right to have their own opinions. But when I see the actions that is inhuman, I will definitely distrust it... Thanks for your opinion & have a nice day...😊 |
