Loving a pattern is just liking it, and it adds the pattern to a list that you can look at later. Rating a pattern is just an easy way of sharing your thoughts on the pattern

"love it" save the pattern to your 'Loves' list which you can find on your profile and on the drop down option when you hover over your avatar on the top menu bar.Rating it is just giving the pattern a score and does not save the pattern to any list. |

personally, if i’ve done or started a pattern i love it just do i don’t have to look through all my to dos to see it again, but rating it is just something nice to do, i imagine it gets the pattern pushed up in some algorithm? but i bet so does loving it so i guess i don’t exactly know
