How to end a bookmark?

Hi! I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but how to end a bookmark? I already know how to start it, and I know how to make it as I already did a bracelet and a few keychains, but I'm not sure how to end a bookmark. If I just cut it off with scissors to make a straight end, it will untangle later, right? But the ends I made for the keychains are not suitable for the bookmark in my opinion and I can't find a video for this so I'm a little lost. So how do you make it? Is there some tutorial on the internet? Thanks for all answers and I do apologise if someone already asked this, but I couldn't find a similar question❤️

I'm not sure, if it makes much sense, but one option would be to make the edge like you would make the edges of a triangle end but without knotting a triangle first.Here is the technique you are probably looking for https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/128_straight-edge-endings-for-alpha-bracelets/ |
