That's up to you 🙂 it also depends on knot size (depends on material used and how tight you knot) and how long the bracelet needs to be.

Personally when I make a bracelet, I regularly check, if it already fits around my wrist or how many there is still left.

I had my friends measure the length of bracelets they already own and find comfortable, to determine how long to make mine and then I just keep measuring every couple of rows.Of course that means you might need to stop in the middle of a pattern at a point where it looks a bit strange, but I think even if you knew that beforehand, there would not be terribly much to be done about it anyway. |
