alpha loose strings

I’m doing my first alpha pattern and I’m wondering what others do with the loose strings from adding colors. I want to just cut them but I’m afraid that might cause problems in the pattern after worn for a while.

you can totally cut them and nothing will happen over time. The strings are all knotted together so they won’t unravel! i like to cut them pretty close to the base of it so it doesn’t poke me if i wear the bracelet.
