Hey I was wondering if anyone knew how to line up the string colors if I am doing sodapop cows I need help knowing where what colors go and I can’t watch any videos cuz my internet is not working good enough for me to watch videos I really would appreciate your help I am getting frustrated and about to cry!! Thanks

Sodapop's cow patterns usually have 12 base strings. Base strings are the strings onto which you knot in an alpha. They can be any colour you like. Their length should be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for making the ties.

Sopop's cow patterns have between 5 and 14 colours. For each colour used in the pattern, you need one leading string. Leading strings are the strings you knot with row by row. You just insert the leading strings when you need them.

You start of by knotting with the leading string of the background colour row by row onto the base strings. When you need to make a knot of a different colour according to the pattern, you switch to a different leading string that you insert at the point where it is first used.

I recommend to continue started conversations instead of restarting them 🙂 this way it is easier to keep an overview of what you already know and how the conversation in general is going.
