How are you all anchoring your work?

So I’m curious, I use a clipboard and from others have mainly seen them taped to tables/desks or crunched into the lid of an embroidery floss box. How else are people securing their bracelets to be worked on?

I use a clipboard, but also sometimes use tape as I'm working on a bracelet. So when it gets longer I periodically tape the upper/finished sections so it doesn't move. I just use Scotch tape.

You can also use thin painters tape which is what I Use I find that it has a better hold and doesn’t separate the string as much hope this helps😁

i’ve started to use a single piece of string that’s tied separately around the loop of your bracelet and taped to a flat surface. this probably doesn’t make sense lol but you can see it in masha knot’s videos where she makes alphas

If I make a teardrop loop I tape it down for the loop, and most of the time after I do that, I pin it to a pillow or my pants to knot. I hope this helped! Have an awesome Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄

I'm a flat clip on some hard acrylic/MDF board type of knotter. I find it more portable and secure than tape on a table. Have also tried pinning my projects to myself or something else, but found it too shaky.

I'm a little unusual and use a loop made out of scrap thread that goes through the loop of the bracelet I'm working on. I can put the scrap thread loop around my feet if I'm sitting butterfly style, or pull it up around my thigh if I'm sitting normally. I've also anchored the loop to water bottles, table legs etc. When I'm done with the scrap thread loop I just cut it off. I think lots of folks don't like this method because it's not very "stable," but I like that it gives me the flexibility to knot pretty much anywhere.

I have a mini embroidery floss box that I use tape to secure it down to. If I am just starting the bracelet with a loop then I cut a piece of tape in half then use it vertical over the loop then use a piece of gabe above and below the loop horizontally. When I have an able to and have enough bracelet then I use a piece of tape straight across my work. I just use basic clear tape.
