If you have a friend who also makes bracelets, try joining them for a bracelet session! My friend and I like to put on a TV show in the background and work on bracelets together. Being forced to start a bracelet usually gets me out of a slump.

I will do like a small non time-consuming pattern, so that way I feel the accomplishment and get the dopamine boost from finishing something and keep wanting to do it. Generally these are super basic alpa patterns or something similar.

Take a break and try something new: Sometimes, taking a break from bracelet-making and trying out a different craft or hobby can help you come back to your work with fresh eyes and new inspiration.Look for inspiration: Browse through websites, blogs, and social media accounts that showcase bracelet-making projects and techniques. This can help spark new ideas and help you get motivated to create something new. Experiment with new materials and techniques: Try working with different materials or incorporating new techniques into your bracelet-making process. This can help keep things interesting and help you discover new creative possibilities. Join a bracelet-making group or forum: Connecting with other bracelet-makers can be a great way to get support, exchange ideas, and stay motivated. You might consider joining a bracelet-making group or forum online or even finding a local group or club to join. i would recommend watching masha knots’ youtube videos called “knot with me” (she’s known as Racoon on bracelet book). i also love to listen to music, be on facetime with a friend, or watch a tv show in the background while knotting. i tend to be super fidgety so having something to do with my hands while doing something i already enjoy doing kills two birds with one stone. if you’re really struggling to get back into it, don’t force anything. your brain will tell you if/when it wants to start knotting again and we’ll be waiting for you 😊
