Things to start alphas on

Hello! I've made bracelets for a while and I just made my first alpha bracelet the other day and I started it just from open ended base strings, not realizing that most people add their base strings to a key chain or something like that which seems much easier. So my question is, what do you guys recommend I use to start my alphas? The alpha I made is kinda just a waste of yarn because I cant do anything with it now 🙁(I use just regular yarn to make my bracelets because i don't have a supply of thread rn)

here’s a few options for bracelets:1. leave some base string for ties 2. do a triangle loop start (they’re so pretty) 3, do a regular triangle end for other: keychains-find some swivel d key rings on amazon wall hanging s use some wooden dowels |
