It does work and it works quite well. Just keep in mind it will make the bracelet a little thicker than what it would be normally with embroidery thread, so I tend to use it for patterns that use a small amount of strings. Combinability is also an issue, so I would suggest sticking to one manufacturer.

I personally don’t prefer yarn, but u can definitely make a bracelet with yarn. Just remember your knots will be larger due to the yarn being thicker than normal embroidery floss or craft cord. I hope that’s helpful and good luck on ur bracelets 😄

When you work with yarn and you do a normal pattern for a bracelet you will be done a lot faster because the knots are bigger but the pattern will also repeat less.

I have tried making a scarf out of a two-color alpha pattern with yarn and it works great, but it's large (which is why I never finished it 🙂). It's great for making knots with though
