Hello!! How are you guys doing? I hope you are doing well! I want some easy patterns for me as a beginner to start with. I did save some patterns for me to try but they are difficult, would you mind if you showed me some simple patterns for me? And I want to practice more using simple patterns. But I have a quick question.. Do you recommend me creating some easy patterns for beginners and practice? Or it’s going to be hard for a beginner like me? Thanks a lot |

Are you looking for normal patterns or alpha patterns?Good beginner normal patterns would be Candystripe #1 Chevron #2 Zipper #3982 Chinese Staircase #8454 (for this one you have to follow a tutorial instead of the pattern) Good beginner alpha patterns are any alpha patterns with a small amount of base strings and colours. I recommend something like a name bracelet to start. |

After you are good and feel comfortable making those you can try slightly harder ones yet still simple like.

I suggest any patterns between 3-10 strings and around 4 or 5 colors

For starting I recommend 3 to 5 colors and less than ten base strings

i honestly don’t recommend pattern #1 to start with. it only gives experience with one knot and doesn’t stay flat while knotting. i like #2, #150 / #2772 (they look the same, but #2772 is slightly easier to knot, and #150 can help with fb/bf knots ) and #15859 (the first bracelet I made using a pattern ! )
