How do you keep alpha bracelets from separating on straight lines

I have an issue where whenever I make an alpha bracelet with a section where one string ends in the same row multiple times, it begins to separate from the rest of the bracelet. How can I keep the bracelet from becoming uneven from this?

I'm not sure I know what you mean... Do you mean the knots of the non-background colour sagging?

Just make sure that when you pull the strings behind when switching colors that itโs tight and you donโt have sag but not too tight that it scrunches up.
