Hi! Anyone know how to make your sides not so indented-ish when the pattern requires a forward-backward/backward-forward knot on the last or first (outter) strings? For example in pattern #961 the bracelet may end up coming out a little curvy and the sides are not perfectly straight in some pics. LMK!! thxxx

also I in no way mean to critique ppls bracelets I was just making that pattern and was having that issue so I figured it would be a good example to use as a reference. ❤️ ❤️

You can use the straight edges technique. In this pattern you can just replace all edge knots with bf knots on the left and fb knots on the right because the f or b knots at the edges are between two strings of the same colour anyways.

Here is a tutorial, if you want to learn more:
https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/

The part "patterns where you don't need an extra string" describes your case.
