im making a bracelet with just the letter n in the middle (alpha) . how many rows total should it be to be an actual bracelet ? i've seen most of the patterns are ~80-100 rows

depends on how many rows the N is. i would subtract the number of rows for the N, and then divide the number of rows by 2 to figure out how many rows you need for each side

the n is 10 rows . but like is 80-100 rows total a good length ? with the tie offs obvi

unless you are doing any sort of fancy ends, 75 knots is a good place to start 🙂 if you have made other alphas in the past, you could find the original pattern and estimate a good size for your wrist based on the length of those ones. in general 65 knots is small, 75 is average, and 85-100 is quite large
